Movie Review : Bad Genius (2017)

Bad Genius is a Thailand movie by Jor Kwang. It’s about Lynn, a genius girl who has a lot of achievments.

At his new school, Lynn be friends with Grace, an ordinary student who’s not too smart in academics but good enough in extracurricular. One day during the school exams, Lynn gave Grace a cheat because she worried her best  friend couldn’t fill the exam questions properly. Because of Lynn’s help, Grace got good scores in exams.

Pat (Grace’s boyfriend) found out that Lynn gave cheat to Grace at the exam and he also wanted Lynn to help him during the next exam, in return for a considerable he will give Lynn amount of money. Tempted by that, Lynn make a “cheat” as “business.” She found the good method of cheating inspired by hands in piano. After that, many people came to Lynn and wanted Lynn to teach them her cheating methods, the more people also the more profits that Lynn got from her “business”. She even saved her money for college expenses abroad and bought his father an expensive clothes

Then, Grace and Pat asked Lynn again to help them for the STIC Exam. STIC is a test for a student who want to study in abroad with the high difficullity level.  Of course this is a big mission for them because so many students in Thailand want to do STIC Exam. The money offer for Lynn is of course bigger than before.

But Lynn has a problem, the number of STIC questions are too much so Lynn can’t memorize all the answers alone. So she asked Bank, a guy who has the same genius brain as genius as Lynn, Bank is Lynn’s rival at school. He has a good ability to memorize something. Because of that Lynn asked Bank to complete the mission together with her and being a “business partner”.

Can they make a sucessful cheating strategy?
Can they complete this mission?
Can they pass the exam without being caught?



Well.. this is one of the best Thailand movie i’ve ever watched. The good storyline and the acting of the casts are very cool making this movie worthy of appreciation. No wonder many people on twitter are recommending this movie to watch. Overall, i was really impressed, especially with Lynn's genius and her business methods lol. Many things can be learned from this movie. You may be a genius, but can you use it for a useful thing? Don’t let money make you do something bad, especially if those bad things can harm yourself.

For me, it’s 9/10! Hope my review make you interested enough to watch Bad Genius.
